The name is new, but the company has existed in the Clearwater Bay area for the last 15 years as this is where we settled to raise our children. We never advertised and we worked only from referrals and word of mouth. We never really had to have a name but we are now expanding and we feel it's time to put a name out there and let the business grow where it has to grow. 

Yes! We are set up to take care of any projects on islands or on any property that is road or lake access. We also offer light barging services (up to 5000 lb capacity), and ice road plowing and maintainance. 

- Building permits for cottages, guest cottages, ancillary buildings, docks, decks and boathouses, will depend on where your property is located and if it falls within the Lake Of The Woods watershed, unorganized area, or the City of Kenora district. Permits are issued through the City of Kenora, or the MNRF office for these areas.

- Any electrical work requires a permit.

- Plumbing permits are required for septic fields and can be applied for at the Health Unit in Kenora. We also have a consultant that will work with you to design your septic field! 

* Please note - we do NOT begin work on site without any of the necessary permits in place. 

When we started our construction company in the Clearwater Bay area of N.W. Ontario, we concentrated on mostly decks and docks. A lot of the work consisted of repair work or renovations. Over the last 15 years, we have grown into a full general contracting company which focuses mainly on new cottage builds, guest cottage builds, pipe docks and boathouse builds, timber work and renovations. We also offer light barging services, full property maintainance and snow removal. 

Depending on the project you have in mind, it's always best to schedule or make an appointment well in advance of when you'd like work to begin. This could sometimes mean scheduling up to a year in advance so we can make sure we have the time to have designs completed, subtrades lined up and secured, and all required government permits in place before the work begins. 

We have several designers and architects that we can set you up with for your project. 

Yes, we carry full insurance and are certified for any of the projects that we accept. 

All of our estimates include a fully detailed scope of the work to be completed. You will receive a written report with a breakdown of the cost and time estimated for your project. 

We communicate with you every step of the way. If we can see that we will not have the work completed by the agreed-upon time, we will reach out to get a new completion date.
